Comparison review
Moto G8 Power is slightly better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact, getting a score of 76 against 74.6. Moto G8 Power's body is noticeably newer, but heavier and a little thicker than Xperia XZ1 Compact. The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact has just a bit better performance than Moto G8 Power. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
Moto G8 Power features a bit sharper screen than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a way larger screen, a much better resolution of 1080 x 2300 and a quite better amount of pixels in each display inch. Xperia XZ1 Compact takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also counts with a more mega-pixels back camera and a bigger camera sensor.
The Motorola Moto G8 Power has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Motorola Moto G8 Power features a much better battery performance than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
