Comparison review
Moto Z3 Play has a score of 76.3, which is slightly better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact's 74.6 global score. The Moto Z3 Play is a newer and thinner cellphone than Xperia XZ1 Compact, although it's a bit heavier. Motorola Moto Z3 Play features a slightly better looking screen than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a much larger display, a greater screen density and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2160px.
Xperia XZ1 Compact features a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z3 Play. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor. Moto Z3 Play features much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.
Moto Z3 Play features a little better battery life than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity. The Xperia XZ1 Compact takes a bit better photos and videos than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality and a back camera with a way better resolution.
In addition to being the best phone in this comparison, Motorola Moto Z3 Play is also a bargain compared to the other devices, which makes it a no doubt choice.
