The Motorola One Zoom is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact, having an 80 score against 74.6. Motorola One Zoom's body is newer and a bit thinner than the Xperia XZ1 Compact's, although it's way heavier. Motorola One Zoom counts with a little bit better looking display than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a much bigger screen, a higher pixel density and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340.

Xperia XZ1 Compact counts with just a little better hardware performance than Motorola One Zoom. They have 8 cores and the same RAM amount. The Motorola One Zoom features a much better storage for games and applications than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that admits 128 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Motorola One Zoom counts with a really longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Motorola One Zoom captures much better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola One Zoom also has a larger sensor shooting better quality photos, a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photos and video and a lot more megapixels back-facing camera.
