OnePlus 8 UW is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, with a score of 75.9 against 74.6. OnePlus 8 UW's construction is incredibly newer and thinner than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact's, but it is extremely heavier. OnePlus 8 UW has a sharper display than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a much bigger screen, a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a greater display pixels density.
OnePlus 8 UW features a greater storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The OnePlus 8 UW features a bit better hardware performance than Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 UW also has more RAM.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a superior battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a 59 percent bigger battery size.
