Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has an overall score of 79.2, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ1 Compact's general score of 74.6. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a noticeably older and somewhat heavier phone than the Xperia XZ1 Compact, but Samsung managed to build it somewhat thinner anyway. Galaxy Note 4 features a lot better looking display than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a bigger display, a lot higher amount of pixels per inch of display and a way better 2560 x 1440px resolution.

Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xperia XZ1 Compact features a slightly bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB.

The Galaxy Note 4 has superior battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh. Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a larger aperture to take better low-light images and videos, a back-facing camera with a higher 19 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger camera sensor.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Note 4 is also by far the cheapest.
