Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a general score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact's overall score of 74.6. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a lot older and heavier than the Xperia XZ1 Compact, it's design is still somewhat thinner. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a much sharper screen than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a larger screen, way more pixels per inch in the screen and a way better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
Xperia XZ1 Compact counts with a greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Xperia XZ1 Compact has a faster processor than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a greater number of faster cores.
Galaxy Note 5 features a bit superior battery life than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has an 11 percent greater battery size. The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact also counts with a bigger sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures and a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy Note 5 is also by far the cheapest.
