Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Active has a score of 80.9, which is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact's overall score of 74.6. The Galaxy S6 Active design is just a bit thinner and noticeably lighter than Xperia XZ1 Compact. The Galaxy S6 Active has a bit faster processor than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor.
The Galaxy S6 Active has an incredibly better looking display than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a bit bigger screen, a much better 2560 x 1440px resolution and a lot better quantity of pixels per screen inch. Xperia XZ1 Compact has a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for taking pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a better 19 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact features a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Active. They have the same internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features greater battery duration than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy S6 Active is not only the best phones between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
