The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact, getting a overall score of 79 against 74.6. Even being the best device in this review, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is a somewhat heavier and noticeably thicker device than Xperia XZ1 Compact. Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit better performance than Xperia XZ1 Compact. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a better looking screen than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a way higher 1080 x 2160 resolution, a bit bigger screen and a lot greater count of pixels per screen inch. Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external SD slot that holds up to 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a 6% greater battery capacity. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact shoots slightly better videos and photos than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have the same aperture, the same (4K) video resolution, a 0.43 inches back-facing camera sensor and a 19 MP back camera, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has better video frame rate.
