Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZs is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, getting a 77.2 score against 74.6. Sony Xperia XZs's construction is somewhat thinner but somewhat heavier than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and both of them were released with only 6 months difference. The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact features a bit faster CPU than Sony Xperia XZs, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a larger number of faster cores.
The Sony Xperia XZs has a slightly better looking display than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a bit bigger screen, a higher pixel density and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Xperia XZs counts with as much storage to store more games and applications as the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB.
The Xperia XZs has just a little better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has 2900mAh of battery capacity against 2700mAh. Xperia XZs counts with a lot better camera than Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a F2 aperture, a same size camera sensor and a same resolution back facing camera, the Xperia XZs also has faster 960 fps video frame rate.
Xperia XZs costs more money than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
