Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, getting a global score of 77.6 against 74.6. The Xperia Z5 is a noticeably older and just a bit heavier cellphone than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, but Sony was able to make it a lot thinner anyway. The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a processor that's just as good as the processor in Xperia XZ1 Compact, because although the Sony Xperia Z5 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.

Xperia Z5 counts with a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a higher pixels amount per inch of screen, a little bit larger screen and a way higher 1920 x 1080 resolution. The Xperia Z5 counts with a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a same size camera sensor and the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia Z5 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in low light situations and a higher resolution camera in the back.

Xperia XZ1 Compact features just a bit bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
