Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, having a general score of 79.8 against 74.6. Even though Xperia Z5 Premium is older and noticeably heavier than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, it's body is still somewhat thinner. Xperia Z5 Premium's processor is very similar to the Xperia XZ1 Compact one, because although the Xperia Z5 Premium has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features an incredibly better display than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a lot greater screen density, a larger display and a much higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit better camera than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same camera sensor size and the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger aperture to capture better low light photos and video and a camera in the back with more MP.
Xperia XZ1 Compact has a little bit better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Xperia Z5 Premium has greater battery duration than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a 27% greater battery size.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Xperia Z5 Premium is also cheaper than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, which makes it easy to pick between these phones.
