Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact is a bit better than Google Pixel 3a, getting a 79 score against 78.8. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Xperia XZ2 Compact has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Google Pixel 3a has Android 11 version, so it provides the user lots of additional features. Even though Xperia XZ2 Compact is a better phone than the Google Pixel 3a, we must note that it's also older, somewhat heavier and thicker.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a more vivid screen than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel density. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit better performance than Google Pixel 3a. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB. The Google Pixel 3a has just a bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit better camera than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate, a lot more MP back-facing camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
