Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a general score of 79, which is a little bit better than the HTC One M9's 77.7 score. Although Xperia XZ2 Compact is extremely newer than the HTC One M9, it is just a bit heavier and a lot thicker. These phones use Android operating system, but Xperia XZ2 Compact has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0.
HTC One M9 features a bit better processing power than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit CPU and an extra graphics processor. HTC One M9 counts with a bit better display than Xperia XZ2 Compact, although it has a little bit less pixels per screen inch and a little lower 1920 x 1080px resolution, they both have a screen with the same size.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 400 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has just a bit better battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 1 percent bigger battery size.
Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a slightly better camera than HTC One M9, because although it has a camera with a worse resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality and a bigger aperture.
