Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Compact is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20 lite, with a score of 79 against 76.2. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Xperia XZ2 Compact has an older 8.0 Oreo version while Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo. Although Xperia XZ2 Compact and Huawei Mate 20 lite were only released with a couple of months difference, Xperia XZ2 Compact's design is thicker but also a little lighter than Huawei Mate 20 lite.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2160 resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels count per inch of display. Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with a slightly better storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB.

The Huawei Mate 20 lite has superior battery life than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity instead of 2870mAh. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a better camera than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a smaller aperture and a camera in the back with less megapixels, it also counts with a way better (4K) video quality.
