Comparison review
Huawei Mate 30 is just a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, having an 84 score against 79. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Huawei Mate 30 has older 10 version while Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo. Huawei Mate 30's body is newer and a lot thinner than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's, although it's heavier.
The Huawei Mate 30 features just a little better hardware performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a greater amount of RAM. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a much better screen than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a really smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater quantity of pixels per inch of display.
The Huawei Mate 30 takes better videos and photos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a bigger aperture, a much higher 40 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a much larger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and pictures.
Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Huawei Mate 30 features a much better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
