The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has an overall score of 79, which is slightly better than the LG Q70's 77.9 general score. Despite of the fact Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is older and incredibly thicker than the LG Q70, it's construction is still somewhat lighter. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while LG Q70 has Android 10.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact features just a bit better hardware performance than LG Q70. Both have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. The Xperia XZ2 Compact features a better display than LG Q70, because although it has a way smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a little better pixel count in each inch of screen.
LG Q70's camera is just as good as the camera in Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although the LG Q70 has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which provides a worse photo and video quality and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same video definition, it also counts with a back facing camera with much more MP and a bigger aperture to capture better low light images and video.
The LG Q70 counts with a much better memory for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the LG Q70 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The LG Q70 features a way better battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2870mAh.
