Comparison review
The LG V35 ThinQ is a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, with an 81.3 score against 79. Even when LG V35 ThinQ and the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact were released with only a couple of months difference, LG V35 ThinQ is noticeably thinner and a little lighter. The LG V35 ThinQ counts with a little faster processing unit than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V35 ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit sharper screen than LG V35 ThinQ, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2160, a little bit worse display density and a little bit smaller display. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact shoots clearer photos and videos than LG V35 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and video, and they both have the same video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a better 19 MP resolution camera in the back, a way larger camera sensor providing a way better image quality and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The LG V35 ThinQ has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG V35 ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG V35 ThinQ has just a bit longer battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
