The Moto G71 5G has a global score of 82.9, which is slightly better than the Xperia XZ2 Compact's 79 general score. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Moto G71 5G has older 11 version and Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Moto G71 5G's design is incredibly newer and incredibly thinner, but also a little heavier than the Xperia XZ2 Compact.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little bit better performance than Moto G71 5G, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a better screen than Motorola Moto G71 5G, because although it has a much smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, it also counts with a little higher pixel quantity in each display inch.
The Moto G71 5G's camera is very similar to the Xperia XZ2 Compact one, and although the Moto G71 5G has a bigger diafragm aperture for better captures and videos in low light environments and a back camera with a lot higher resolution, they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G71 5G, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Motorola Moto G71 5G has a much longer battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
