Xperia XZ2 Compact has an overall score of 79, which is a bit better than Moto Z Force's overall score of 75.8. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia XZ2 Compact has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Moto Z Force has Android 7.0 Nougat version, so it gives you some extra features. Although Xperia XZ2 Compact is newer than the Moto Z Force, it is way thicker and just a bit heavier.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit more vivid display than Moto Z Force, although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, a just a bit lower screen pixels density and a little smaller screen. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little bit better processing power than Motorola Moto Z Force, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a larger number of cores.
Moto Z Force counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Moto Z Force also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little bit better camera than Moto Z Force, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and video in low-light environments, a camera in the back with a worse resolution and a worse (4K) video quality.
Moto Z Force features better battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 22% bigger battery capacity.
