OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is a bit better than Xperia XZ2 Compact, getting an 80.1 score against 79. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has an older 10 version and Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is a newer and much thinner cellphone than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, but it's somewhat heavier.
OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren counts with a little better hardware performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has more RAM. Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit sharper screen than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, although it has a lot smaller display, a quite worse pixel density and a way lower 1080 x 2160px resolution.
OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has a larger sensor which gives a higher image and video quality, a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photos.
OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a much longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 42% greater battery capacity.
