Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Compact is a little bit better than OnePlus 8 UW, having a general score of 79 against 75.9. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Xperia XZ2 Compact has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10 version. The Xperia XZ2 Compact is an extremely older and thicker cellphone than the OnePlus 8 UW, but Sony was able to make it a little bit lighter anyway.
OnePlus 8 UW counts with a little bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xperia XZ2 Compact features a slightly better display than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px, way more opaque display and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better display density.
The OnePlus 8 UW shoots much clearer videos and photos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a camera with a much better 48 MP resolution, a bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a better photo and video quality and a larger diafragm aperture.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has more memory capacity for applications and games than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 400 GB. The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a way better battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
