Comparison review
The Galaxy A31 is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, getting a global score of 81.3 against 79. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Galaxy A31 has the older 10 version while Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even though the Galaxy A31 is just a bit heavier than Xperia XZ2 Compact, it's a lot thinner and newer.
Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A31. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM. The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a much better screen than Galaxy A31, because although it has a lot smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a little more pixels per display inch.
Samsung Galaxy A31 has just a bit better camera than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have a F2 diafragm aperture and the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels and a larger back-facing camera sensor.
Samsung Galaxy A31 has a slightly better memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A31 has a really longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 74 percent bigger battery capacity.
