Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A51 is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, getting an 85.5 score against 79. The Samsung Galaxy A51 is a newer and incredibly thinner phone than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, although it's a bit heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A51 has 11 version and Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a better looking display than Galaxy A51, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater display pixel density. Galaxy A51 counts with much more storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy A51. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Galaxy A51 features a much better battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 39% bigger battery size. Samsung Galaxy A51 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also counts with a much better 48 MP resolution camera and a larger back camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality.
