Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Compact is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note4, getting a score of 79 against 77.6. The Xperia XZ2 Compact design is extremely newer and a bit lighter, but incredibly thicker than Samsung Galaxy Note4. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note4, although it has a lot worse 1080 x 2160 resolution, a bit smaller display and a just a bit lower amount of pixels per display inch.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Note4, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note4, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and video in poorly lited environments, higher 60 fps video frame rate, a larger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and a camera with a higher resolution.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a much greater storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note4, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy Note4 features just a little bit longer battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 3220mAh battery capacity against 2870mAh.
