The Xperia XZ Premium has a score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's global score of 79. Even though Xperia XZ Premium is older and heavier than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, it's design is still extremely thinner. Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit better processing power than Xperia XZ Premium. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a brighter screen than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same display brightness, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px, a much greater screen pixel density and a little bit larger display.
