Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a general score of 79, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z5's general score of 77.6. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact design is newer, but a bit heavier and way thicker than Xperia Z5. These devices use Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features.
Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a screen that's just as good as Xperia XZ2 Compact's screen, because although the Sony Xperia Z5 has a little lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit lower display pixel density, it also counts with a bit bigger display. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has just a little better processing power than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. Xperia Z5's battery duration is very similar to the Xperia XZ2 Compact one, although the Xperia Z5 also has a 2900mAh battery size.
Xperia XZ2 Compact shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Xperia Z5, although it has a camera with less MP resolution, a worse (4K) video definition and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing images or videos in low light environments, they both have a same size sensor.
