Comparison review
Xperia Z5 Premium is a little bit better than Xperia XZ2 Compact, having a global score of 79.8 against 79. Xperia Z5 Premium is an a lot older and a bit heavier cellphone than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, but Sony could make it notably thinner anyway. Both phones we are comparing here have Android operating system, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has older 5.1 version and Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit more powerful CPU than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a brighter display than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a quite bigger display, a much better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a way greater pixels density.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little bit better camera than Xperia Z5 Premium, although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and video in low-light environments, a worse 3840x2160 video resolution and a back-facing camera with less mega pixels, they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor.
Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 400 GB.
