Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a general score of 79, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's score of 77.5. Xperia XZ2 Compact's body is newer and incredibly lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's, but it's incredibly thicker. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a greater display pixel density. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has better 60 fps video frame rate, a larger aperture, a back facing camera with a lot better 19 MP resolution and a much larger camera sensor.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a little bit better storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a really longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 2870mAh.
