Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a general score of 79, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's general score of 75.8. Both of these devices work with the same Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Although Xperia XZ2 Compact and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro were released only a couple months apart, Xperia XZ2 Compact's construction is a little bit lighter but a lot thicker.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features a more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
Xperia XZ2 Compact has a better memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 400 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a much longer battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2870mAh.
