Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a bit better than iPhone 7's global score of 81.6. Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is newer, but extremely thicker and incredibly heavier than iPhone 7. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better processing power than Apple iPhone 7, because it has more cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has an incredibly better screen than Apple iPhone 7, because it has more brightness, a way higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution, a way greater pixel amount per display inch and a bigger screen. The Xperia XZ2 Premium takes clearer photos and videos than Apple iPhone 7, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a same size diafragm aperture, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a way larger back camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs and a way more mega pixels camera in the back.
The iPhone 7 counts with a greater memory for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a superior battery performance than iPhone 7, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs more money than iPhone 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the iPhone 7. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the iPhone 7, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
