Comparison review
The iPhone X has an overall score of 88.1, which is a bit better than Xperia XZ2 Premium's 82.2 general score. Although the iPhone X and Xperia XZ2 Premium were released with only a few months difference, the iPhone X is way lighter and much thinner. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a brighter display than Apple iPhone X, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a much better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution, more brightness and a lot more pixels per screen inch.
IPhone X counts with a little better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and lesser and slower cores, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. The Apple iPhone X has a quite bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with better battery duration than Apple iPhone X, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity. Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots slightly better pictures and videos than iPhone X, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a much bigger sensor which gives a way better image and video quality and a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
The iPhone X costs a bit more money than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
