The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is slightly better than the Apple iPhone XR's 82 overall score. Despite being the best we compare here, we must note that it is also a extremely thicker and somewhat heavier phone. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much better looking screen than Apple iPhone XR, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher screen pixel density, a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and more brightness.
Apple iPhone XR features a bit better processing unit than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has 2 less and slower CPU cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium takes slightly better photographs and videos than Apple iPhone XR, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a camera with a much higher 19 MP resolution and a larger camera sensor.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Apple iPhone XR, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium features better battery performance than iPhone XR, because it has a 20% larger battery size.
