Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is much better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium, with a global score of 94 against 82.2. Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate's body is way newer and thinner, but also a little heavier than the Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a brighter screen than Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, because although it has much darker display and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better display pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px.
