Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom's 76.2 general score. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a newer cellphone than the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, but it is much thicker and a lot heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little bit better performance than Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with an incredibly better screen than Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, because it has a way better 2160 x 3840 resolution, a little bit bigger display, a lot higher display pixels density and a much brighter display. Xperia XZ2 Premium takes a bit better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos and a back camera with a much better resolution.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom counts with much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage. Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom features a way better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3540mAh.
