Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019)'s 77.8 overall score. Xperia XZ2 Premium is better than the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), we must note that it is also an older, somewhat heavier and thicker device. The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019)'s processing unit is very similar to the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium one, both of them have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a way better looking display than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a lot more pixels per inch of screen. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) takes a bit better videos and photos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same camera aperture, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has faster video frame rates, a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a larger back-facing camera sensor.
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) features a much better battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 41% greater battery size.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some money and get the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), letting go a couple features and specifications.
