Comparison review
Asus ZenFone 8 is slightly better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium, with an 83 score against 82.2. The Asus ZenFone 8 body is newer, incredibly thinner and lighter than Xperia XZ2 Premium. Asus ZenFone 8's CPU is very similar to the CPU in Xperia XZ2 Premium, both of them have 6 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a more vivid screen than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has less bright display and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a way greater amount of pixels per screen inch. The Asus ZenFone 8 captures much clearer photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a lot larger sensor shooting much better quality videos and photos, a much higher resolution back facing camera and a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a better storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. Asus ZenFone 8 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 13% greater battery size.
