Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than Google Pixel, getting a general score of 82.2 against 80.2. Even though the Xperia XZ2 Premium is newer than Google Pixel, it's a lot heavier and noticeably thicker. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better performance than Google Pixel, because it has more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better screen than Google Pixel, because it has a lot greater pixels density, a much better 2160 x 3840px resolution and a larger screen. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium captures a bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel, and although they both have the same sensor size, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a lot higher 19 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a larger aperture.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with superior battery duration than Google Pixel, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel, giving up some features and specs.
