Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than the Google Pixel 3 XL, having a general score of 82.2 against 80.7. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is better than Google Pixel 3 XL, it must be told that it is also way thicker and notably heavier. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better processing power than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better looking screen than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a greater pixel density. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a little bit longer battery performance than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has a 3% more battery size. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a bigger sensor capturing better quality photos and videos and a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3 XL. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 3 XL, giving up some features and specs.
