Google Pixel 4 XL has a global score of 82.9, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium's general score of 82.2. Google Pixel 4 XL is a newer cellphone, and it is also somewhat lighter and notably thinner than Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better screen than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a higher pixels count in each inch in the display.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better memory to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 400 GB. The Google Pixel 4 XL and Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium both feature similar CPUs, both of them have 6 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium takes a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a back camera with a lot better resolution and a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a little better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5 percent greater battery size.
