Comparison review

The Google Pixel 5 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, with a score of 89 against 82.2. The Google Pixel 5 design is noticeably newer, a lot lighter and thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little better processing power than Google Pixel 5, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

The Xperia XZ2 Premium features an incredibly better looking screen than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way greater number of pixels per inch in the screen and a way higher 2160 x 3840px resolution. The Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots a bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has slower video frame rate and a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels and a bigger camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 5, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB. Google Pixel 5 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4080mAh battery capacity against 3540mAh.

Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Google Pixel 5 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
