Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than the Google Pixel 6a, getting a score of 82.2 against 76.4. Even though Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better cellphone than the Google Pixel 6a, we must tell that it is also an a lot older, heavier and extremely thicker cellphone. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much better performing processor than Google Pixel 6a, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger number of cores.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much more vibrant display than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with way more pixels per screen inch and a lot better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a quite bigger memory for applications and games than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 400 GB.
Google Pixel 6a has improved battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4410mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or video in poorly lited situations and lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a lot more mega-pixels camera.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 6a. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 6a, resigning some specs and features.
