Comparison review

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than the HTC One M9, having a global score of 82.2 against 77.7. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a notably newer cellphone than HTC One M9, although it's somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier. HTC One M9 has just a little better hardware performance than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional GPU and a 64-bits CPU.

Xperia XZ2 Premium has a brighter display than HTC One M9, because it has a lot more pixels per inch in the display, a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a bigger display. The Xperia XZ2 Premium takes a little bit better photographs and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has a less mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor and a larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and videos in low-light environments.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features longer battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity.

Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One M9. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get HTC One M9, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
