Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is slightly better than HTC U11's 77.6 overall score. Xperia XZ2 Premium is a newer phone than HTC U11, but it's extremely thicker and much heavier. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a more vivid display than HTC U11, because it has a higher screen density, a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a quite bigger screen.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC U11, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little bit better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a camera in the back with way more MP and a bigger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a quite bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than HTC U11, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 400 GB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features improved battery duration than HTC U11, because it has an 18% greater battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as HTC U11. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC U11, resigning some features and specifications.
