Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 8's score of 77.4. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium body is newer than the Huawei Mate 8's, but it's noticeably heavier and much thicker. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much better display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher screen pixels density and a way higher 2160 x 3840 resolution.
Huawei Mate 8 has a little bit more memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a SD card slot that supports 272 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium takes much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a better resolution camera, a larger diafragm aperture and a much higher (4K) video definition. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit longer battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei Mate 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 8. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Huawei Mate 8, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
