Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is slightly better than Huawei nova 5T's general score of 80.8. The Xperia XZ2 Premium body is older, extremely thicker and incredibly heavier than Huawei nova 5T. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much better screen than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater screen density and a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better processing power than Huawei nova 5T. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM amount. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a quite bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
The Huawei nova 5T has a much better camera than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei nova 5T also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality photographs and videos.
The Huawei nova 5T has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 6% bigger battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei nova 5T, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei nova 5T. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei nova 5T, resigning a couple features and specs.
