Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is slightly better than Huawei P20 Pro's 81.4 general score. Although it's the best device in this review, we must note that it is also heavier and way thicker. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better performance than Huawei P20 Pro. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 2160 x 3840 resolution and a way higher screen pixel density. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 13 percent larger battery capacity. The Huawei P20 Pro captures much clearer photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same camera aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a much larger sensor and a much better resolution camera.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P20 Pro. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei P20 Pro, resigning a couple features and specifications.
