Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than the Huawei P30, getting a general score of 82.2 against 81.7. Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is better than Huawei P30, it must be noted that it is also a thicker and way heavier phone. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much more vibrant screen than Huawei P30, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher count of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot better 2160 x 3840 resolution.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei P30, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P30. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Huawei P30 counts with a little longer battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 3650mAh battery size. Huawei P30 captures better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video quality, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a same size diafragm aperture, the Huawei P30 also has a camera with a lot higher resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P30.
