Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than Huawei P40 Lite, with an 82.2 score against 79.5. The Xperia XZ2 Premium design is older, much thicker and extremely heavier than the Huawei P40 Lite. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite. They have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cores.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better looking display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater display pixels density and a way higher 2160 x 3840 resolution. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 400 GB.
Huawei P40 Lite has better battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. Huawei P40 Lite takes just a bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning a couple features and specifications.
