Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is a bit better than Xperia XZ2 Premium's 82.2 global score. The Huawei P40 Pro is a newer device, and it's also much thinner and lighter than Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Huawei P40 Pro's processing unit is very similar to the Xperia XZ2 Premium one, and although the Huawei P40 Pro has a larger amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better looking screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch of display and a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840. The Huawei P40 Pro has a greater camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and videos, and they both have the same video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rate, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a better storage to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro has greater battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 3540mAh.
