Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than LG Q70, having an 82.2 score against 77.9. Despite being the best in this comparison, Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is older, somewhat heavier and noticeably thicker than LG Q70. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little faster processor than LG Q70, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much better looking display than LG Q70, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much better pixels count per display inch and a lot better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. LG Q70 features a bit better camera than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality photos, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the LG Q70 also counts with a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
The LG Q70 has a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the LG Q70 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Q70 has a bit better battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG Q70. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the LG Q70, letting go a couple specs and features.
